Rick Buonincontri, founder, President and CEO

As President and CEO of Solid State Networks, Rick sets the company’s strategic direction. Rick has been working with Internet related technology companies since he left a career in the securities industry as a NASDAQ market maker in 1999 to pursue tech-venture related activities. Rick’s prior business experience includes Internet media production and distribution, peer-to-peer communications, hosting and content delivery. He has held a variety of management positions that included business development, product development and marketing responsibilities.

Rick holds an MS in Economics from Arizona State University and a BS in Economics from Florida Atlantic University.

Chris Jensen, founder, Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President, Chris builds strategic alliances and partnerships to advance company goals. Chris brings his extensive experience in private equity and real estate development to Solid State. His vast network of contacts provides the company access to the key decision makers at target partners and customers.

Chris holds a BA from the University of Nebraska.

Tom Ketola, co-founder, CTO and VP of Software Development

As CTO and Vice President of Software Development, Tom directs the development of all peer-assisted applications for Solid State Networks. Tom is an expert in the BitTorrent protocol and has been a frequent speaker at prominent developer conferences. With more than ten years experience working in the fields of real-time embedded systems, entertainment, and networking software, Tom brings extensive experience managing and developing software to the team.
