Solid State Networks Appoints Carl Kaiser Senior Vice President of Content Delivery

CDN Industry Veteran to Lead Hybrid P2P Delivery Technology Sales
TEMPE, Ariz. – Aug. 25, 2008 – Solid State Networks, a leading developer of software solutions for high-performance content delivery, today announced the appointment of Carl Kaiser as the company’s senior vice president of content delivery. Kaiser’s role with Solid State Networks will focus on defining and leading the company’s business development efforts through strategic alliances and revenue generation programs.

Kaiser brings to Solid State Networks more than 20 years of experience in the communications, Internet, and technology industries. Prior to joining Solid State Networks, he was a founding team member of Limelight Networks, where he was the senior director of strategic alliances.

A market veteran of the communications industry, Kaiser is a known expert in the areas of sales, strategy, business development, and client relationship management that has set records and delivered top performer results for Qwest, AT&T and Sprint Communications. Prior to moving into telecom, he was responsible for sales of computer hardware, software and peripherals at MicroAge, Inc. In addition to his sales productivity, he has managed, trained and developed top performing sales teams for multiple organizations.
